Year 8 Cantamaths Team

The Year 8 Cantamaths Team is practising for this years Cantamaths Competition being held at the Town Hall on 14 September. The problems are challenging and sometimes take time to work out. We believe our Cantamaths team work well together and have a good chance of answering most questions. The team is ... Jack, Benn, Victor and myself.

Tuesday 31 July ... Inquiry

Room 4 have been gathering infomation for our inquiry projects. When all the infomation has been gathered we will be putting it all together using movie maker. Our goal is to have all the movies completed by week 5. We have all been sent off into different groups. Some of the groups are present communication, online gaming, subdivision, traffic and the effect of old cell phones on the environment.

A big welcome back to Nathanael who is not looking his normal self!

Last week we (that is the Year 7 and 8 children) took part in a Leadership programme. We learnt that there are all kinds of leaders and that all styles are important. Communication is one key to successful leadership. If you do not listen to all people's ideas then you will not get to the end of a task very easily.
